Well ladies and gentleman it is the year 2024 and the Dallas Cowboys STILL live rent free in the minds of Washington Commanders fans. Doesn't matter if you call them the Redskins, The Football Team, or whatever. They continue to do the most pathethic thing in sports. Chant, "We Want Dallas' after a big win. The video above is from BEFORE Halloween. Washington beat Green Bay 23-21 and fans decided to bring back their annual chant.

The Original 'We Want Dallas' from 1982-1983 Redskins

Before the NFC Championship game in the 1982 season, the Washington Redskins took on the Minnesota Vikings. During the fourth quarter, tens of thousands of Redskins fans did the now infamous chant. The Redskins would defeat the Cowboys the following week and would go onto win their first Super Bowl that season. The 'We Want Dallas' chant has now been a tradition in Washington for decades. In recent years, it has really came back to bite them.

The Cowboys have embraced the 'We Want Dallas' chant. Throughout the years since the 80's, you can find many Cowboys on the sidelines mocking Washington fans for their little chant. If the season ended today, Washington would be in the playoffs as the seventh and final seed. However, we still have many more weeks to go and that does include another game against the Cowboys. You got Dallas Week 18 Commanders fans. Be a shame if that eliminated you from the playoffs.
