One of Wichita Falls’ Most Iconic Homes Is Now for Sale
One of the most iconic properties in Wichita Falls just went up for sale. Fortunately for me, I work in the radio business, so I may have to put a bid in for it. Just kidding. If you know anything about radio personalities, you know we don’t do it for the money. Yeah, $2.75 million is just a tad bit outside of my price range.

As much as it pains me to admit to being clueless, it was only a few weeks ago that I learned there is a mansion here in town that was inspired by the White House. Once I learned about it, I had to see it for myself and was quite impressed, to say the least. I highly recommend you do so for yourself – especially if you can afford to buy that bad boy.

Located at 3100 Hamilton Boulevard, the “Wichita Falls White House” was built between 1926 and 1929. It’s not a total replica, but it looks a lot like the South Portico of the White House. The home was designated as a Historical Landmark in 2000.

As you might imagine, the mansion is massive at over 9,000 square feet of living space. Set on more than 4 acres, it features 17 rooms, with 5 to 7 bedrooms and 6 and a half bathrooms. Take a look for yourself in the video here, and if you’re a total high roller, book a private showing ASAP.
