Erin Andrews wants to officiate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding after helping the couple get together.

The NFL broadcaster and her pal Charissa Thompson used their Calm Down podcast in August to urge the "Anti-Hero" singer to date the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, and now the couple have gone public with their romance, the 45-year-old presenter is happy to take the credit.

Speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Erin said: “Travis was very open about not getting to meet her. And so we were just being really candid because we love him. We’re good friends of his and we just were like, ‘Taylor, date this guy. I mean he’s good looking.'

"He’s just such a great, great guy. And so we threw it out there and they got together. Of course, we’re getting all the credit now."

Erin joked she and Charissa hope to be with the couple if they decide to make their union official.

She added: “We hope to officiate the wedding. We hope to be there when he proposes, all the things.”

Erin also discussed how excited she was when she saw Taylor wearing one of her Kansas City Chiefs designed jackets to a game.

She said: “If you have anything and she puts it on… I mean if you own a Kleenex company and she wipes her — it’s like oh my God. Yes, this was a huge moment.

"As soon as she wore it, I saw it. I started screaming and freaking out and singing all my favorite Swiftie songs. And then yeah, we restocked and we sold out. And thank you, thank you Taylor Swift.”

During their podcast in August, Erin and Charissa asked Taylor to "please try our friend Travis, he is fantastic".

Erin added: “This is one Taylor, I know we’re not the best of friends, we’re not even friends, but I consider you one. Take us up on this. Go on a date with this guy. Do it for America.”

Over the weekend, Travis joked he "owes" the presenters.

He posted in response to a clip shared on Instagram: "You two are something else!! I owe you big time!!"
