Jimmy Kimmel understands this, so he sent a crew onto Hollywood Boulevard after the Oscar nominations to see what kind of reactions he could get. Passersby were asked questions such as why Armie Hammer was shut out of getting a nomination after acting in ‘The Lone Ranger,’ and if the snub might be because he’s black. They were also asked who should win the ‘In Memoriam’ montage, what they thought about Rob Schneider hosting, and thoughts about Cate Blanchett tweeting her acceptance speech.

Clearly these people have no idea what they’re talking about. That’s what makes it so much fun.
