Joe Alwyn opened up about Taylor Swift and her love songs in a new rare interview.

Ever since they started dating in 2017, the couple has been very private about their relationship. They almost never talk about their romance and it's basically impossible to get the British actor to comment about his girlfriend. But, when a writer from The Sunday Times had an opportunity to ask Alwyn if he minds that Swift has dedicated "entire love songs to him," they — and all of us — were pleasantly surprised by his response.

"No, not at all. No. It's flattering," he admitted.

Swift has famously written many songs about Alwyn, including "End Game," "Delicate" and "Gorgeous" from her 2017 Reputation album, as well as the tracks "Lover," "London Boy" and "Paper Rings" from her latest album, Lover.

According to the interviewer (via E!), Alwyn said that “99.9 percent of what the press write about them is false" — and an example of that is Swift doesn't actually have a private jet she uses to visit him whenever she pleases.

“I just don’t pay attention to what I don’t want to pay attention to,” he continued. “I turn everything else down on a dial. I don’t have any interest in tabloids. I know what I want to do, and that’s this, and that’s what I am doing.”

Over the summer, the 30-year-old pop star shared her own rare comments about her three-year relationship with Alwyn, revealing the real reason she keeps her personal life very private.

"I’ve learned that if I [talk about my relationship], people think it’s up for discussion, and our relationship isn’t up for discussion," she told The Guardian in August. "If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we’d be talking about it -- but it’s just that it goes out into the world. That’s where the boundary is, and that’s where my life has become manageable. I really want to keep it feeling manageable."
