Yes, I'm sure I will catch so much grief from Chris over geeking out about this, but I'll risk it.  The second full-length trailer for "The Avengers" was released just hours ago and its being passed around more than the common cold.  With the new trailer we see more of the Hulk, the inner turmoil of the the Avengers, as well a more action than we could have expected.

After setting up storylines with movies like "Iron Man", "The Incredible Hulk", "Thor", and "Captain America", "The Avengers" is the coming together of the four main characters plus Black Widow and Hawkeye for the Avengers Initiative, a special ops team put together by SHIELD to protect the world from forces that mere humans are not strong enough to fight.  With an invansion army lead by Loki, Thor's adoptive brother, knocking at the front door, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) brings the heroes together for what is obviously going to be a knock-down, drag-out fight.

Joss Whedon has proven himself time and again for being a terrific director of ensemble casts, and this is definitely going to be the movie that gets him the wide-spread attention he's deserved for so long.  From the trailers alone it looks like the whole cast has brough their A-game, making this the ultimate event that its been built up as for years.  With "The Dark Knight Rises" coming out shortly after this film, Nolan and the Batman crew must really have something special if they are going to top what this film looks like it will be.
