Paris Hilton expert Paris Hilton is ready to pull back the curtain on Paris Hilton with a new Paris Hilton documentary, produced by Paris Hilton.

According to The Hollywood Reporter9.14 Pictures and XYZ Films have announced movement on an "unflinching" film-account of Paris Hilton's life. Production will begin in Ibiza at the end of summer and explore Paris Hilton's roles as "businesswoman, entrepreneur and media icon" and her relationship with paparazzi and mass media. And between Paris Hilton's many red carpet appearances and collection of embellished chihuahua cardigans, each bit will have been Paris Hilton-approved.

"Paris Hilton is a modern day-Marilyn Monroe — beautiful, iconized, world famous, shaped by mass media, and misunderstood," directors Don Argott and Sheena Joyce told THR. "We are thrilled to work with Paris to explore her complicated relationship with the public, the press, and the politics that shape our perception of a modern celebrity."

But this Paris Hilton might just throw you for a loop. According to a December 2015 interview with Broadly, Paris Hilton's act on The Simple Life — the ditzy, slow-on-the-uptake character with which many are familiar — was a contrived act.

"When I was developing the character for The Simple Life I just was like, ‘This is your voice for the show, do it all the time,’" she recalled. "I think if you’re actually like that in real life, it’s, like, beyond. But if you’re in on the joke, you know what you’re doing, you’re aware of it, and you’re doing it purposefully, I think it’s actually smart."
