UPDATE: Portions of Iowa Park Road Closed Due to Hazardous Material Spill

Wichita Falls Police and Fire report the chemical spill has been cleared the road is open and clear for all traffic.

Wichita Falls Fire Department HazMat teams were working a spill at around 8 am Tuesday morning.

According to info from the WFFD, a tanker truck carrying an unidentified liquid spilled some of the material at Iowa Park Road and Central Freeway / I-44 this morning.

Wichita Falls Police have blocked access to the area while the cleanup is under way.  Motorists are asked to avoid that area if at all possible.
