Post Malone and Young Thug connect.

On early Friday morning (July 5), Posty dropped off "Goodbyes," a new Thugger-assisted track that you'll probably be hearing a lot of soon. He announced the track with a tweet he posted on Monday. "GOODBYES JULY 5 MIDNIGHT EST," Posty wrote at the time.

"Goodbyes" is a track that comes along with a pretty cinematic video. In the clip, Posty actually ends up getting into a knife fight. You have to watch the video yourself to get an idea of what happens.

The new track is produced by Louis Bell and Brian Lee, and finds Posty crooning about a troubled relationship he is having a hard time letting go of. "We're both actin' insane, but too stubborn to change/Now I'm drinkin' again, 80 proof in my veins," Post sings. "And my fingertips stained, looking over the e-e-edge/Don't fuck with me tonight/Say you needed this heart, then you got it (Got it)/Turns out that it wasn't what you wanted (Wanted)/And we wouldn't let go and we lost it/Now I'm a goner."

Thugger brings up the rear, sharing the same sentiment in his verse. "I want you right in my life/I want you back here tonight/I'm tryna cut you, no knife/I wanna slice you and dice you/My heart get possessive, it got you precise," he rhymes.

This new drop could mean that Post is in album mode. He's now a year and some change removed from dropping off Beerbongs & Bentleys, an LP that Post performed on his tour with 21 Savage last year.
