We all remember Batkid, aka Miles Scott, the young boy suffering from cancer who got to fulfill his dream of being Batman for a day thanks to the help of the city of San Francisco and the Make-A-Wish foundation. The charitable organization has helped to make another ailing kid's superhero dreams come true, transforming nine-year-old Iron Man fan Domenic Pace into Iron Boy — and he's even been endorsed by Robert Downey Jr. himself.
Robert Downey Jr., presenting a bionic Iron Man arm to an exceedingly well-dressed 7-year-old fan named Alex, who was born with a partially developed right arm. The arm wasn’t built by Tony Stark, but rather by a college student named Albert Manero who makes low-cost 3D-printed bionic limbs for children. But Downey received the honor and pleasure of presenting him with his new arm, and comparing it to one of his own Iron Man suits.
The Super Bowl is over and besides the Ravens winning the best part about the whole event had to be all the awesome new movie trailers that we got to see including previews for "Fast and Furious 6", "Iron Man 3" and the newest Star Trek movie, and it's looking like it might be a pretty exciting year for movies...
As one of the resident geeks for NIN and Townsquare Media (Chris Callaway doesn't like to admit he's just as bad as I am), I figured it was up to me to post this. I may be a rarity in that I'm interested in the movie, but not totally psyched up yet...
