It is not uncommon for similar films to come out close to each other.  There was "Tombstone" and "Wyatt Earp", "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" and "Observe and Report", "Antz" and "Bug's Life", and several other complete copies of each other.  And now we can add Snow White to that list...
