Texas is home to the most obese city in the country.

As the old saying goes, everything’s bigger in Texas.

The struggle to lose weight and keep it off is real for many of us, but it’s particularly hard for one Texas city.

Hey, at least we’re not Number One on the list.

Monica Riley from Fort Worth, TX is hoping to become the largest woman in the world, and her reason might make you uncomfortable to think about.

Ok, so I've never technically been in the "obese" category but I did let myself go pretty hard core & was heading that way.  It is SO easy to let yourself eat whatever you want & plop down on the couch after a long day at work!  Those two factors are a dangerous combination and is the reason Wichita Falls now as an obesity rate of over 30%!

According to a researcher at the University of Illinois, automobiles may be to blame for the increase in obesity levels in America. "People consume food, which is a form of energy, and then they expend it in their activities," said Sheldon H. Jacobson, a professor of computer science and the director of the simulation and optimization laboratory.
