Sikes Senter Mall

One of the major tenants is getting out of Sikes Senter Mall before they close in a few years and it's a sad day for mall culture in Wichita Falls.

It's after Labor Day and in my book Spirit Halloween should be open. Sadly, for us in Wichita Falls we have to wait a little longer.

The big talk in Wichita Falls the past week has been what is happening to Sikes Senter Mall. A proposed idea has it looking similar to what is just south of Wichita Falls.

Let's take it back to 1974 when Sikes Senter Mall first opened in Wichita Falls.

Although nothing has been set in stone yet, looks like the talks of future plans for Sikes Senter Mall have some of the current tenants upset.

Looks like a notice was sent to lease owners at the mall this week about an upcoming meeting that could mean big changes for the mall property.

This has apparently been up since this opened and I had no idea it's been sitting in the back all this time.
