Train, 18 Wheeler Collide in Northwest Wichita Falls

A semi was crossing the Fort Worth-Denver rails in the 3700 block of Iowa Park Road on Wednesday morning, but the driver's trip was short lived.

A west-bound BNSF train collided with the truck, striking the back quarter of the trailer.  The driver of the semi was uninjured. Train traffic was running again within a few short hours.

The accident remains under investigation.
