Regularly called Batman vs. Superman, and vice versa, the follow-up to Man of Steel might be close to getting an official title as Warner Bros. has reportedly registered a list of various possible title domains.

Back at Comic Con, writer David S. Goyer told those in attendance that the film featuring Batman and Superman together for the first time would be called either Batman vs. Superman or Superman vs. Batman.  While many fans and news sites have regularly used those titles when discussing casting rumors and such, Warner Bros. has reportedly registered a list of various website domains, all just .com and .net variations of several possible titles.  The possible titles include,

Man of Steel: Battle the Knight

Man of Steel: Beyond Darkness

Man of Steel: Black of Knight

Man of Steel: Darkness Falls

Man of Steel: Knight Falls

Man of Steel: Shadow of the Night

Man of Steel: The Blackest Hour

Man of Steel: The Darkness Within

At this point it is just pure speculation if Warner Bros. will in fact use any of these potential titles as they also own the domains for Superman vs. Batman and Batman vs. Superman.  Most, if not all, of the latest information about the upcoming film is just rumor after rumor, most of which are half-truths at best.  As of now the only information we know for certain is that it will be directed by Zack Snyder, written by David S. Goyer, star Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, and Kevin Smith has seen Affleck’s Batman costume and thinks it’s amazing.
