In a shocking move, Warner Bros. has announced that they will be pulling the entire Harry Potter franchise from store shelves on December 29th,  just a month an a half after the final film, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 2" is released on Blu Ray and DVD on November 11th.

Warner Bros. has not released too many details apart from the moratorium will not affect digital copy downloads or video-on-demand.

The only other company known to do similar things is Disney, who would release their classic films only for a limited time.  With the success of the 3D re-release of "The Lion King", insiders believe Warner Bros. will use similar tactics on the Harry Potter series.
