A new Britney Spears track called ‘Strangest Love’ has hit the Web. Although it’s not an official release from the recently engaged songstress, Ms. Spears is sure to delight fans with this new track since it gives a more stripped-down, organic taste of her singing voice.

According to MuuMuse, ‘Strangest Love’ might be the result of a collaboration between producer Guy Chambers and Ms. Brit. “While the original recording date is unconfirmed (for now), we do know that producer Guy Chambers published a song called ‘Strangest Love’ on BMI (credited along with Westlife’s Brian McFadden),” MuuMuse reports. “Brit Brit reportedly worked with Chambers while recording 2003′s ‘In the Zone’ — plus, the production sounds similar to the Chambers-produced Kylie Minogue cut, ‘Sensitized.’ Is it a match? Maybe…seems likely!”

The song is a slower, more intense love ballad about being able to communicate with a significant other on a much deeper level. Britney Spears’ vocals truly shine as she passionately croons over the pounding back beat of ‘Strangest Love.’ “Til something changes, it’s a different language / Words say too much, and get in the way / We talk in the strangest love,” Spears sings during the chorus.
