She's been called somebody you just wanna party with, Billboard magazine calls her a little girl not to be messed with, I called her Darth Vader! I was lucky enough to catch up with Cady Groves on the phone this morning during the show. Cady grew up in Marlow, Oklahoma right here in our listening area, and is now quickly becoming one of the country's hottest new artist. We only had time to chat for about 8 minutes on the air before I had to kick off the Wayback Lunch Hour, but you can hear our full 14 minute interview unedited below which includes Cady's heart wrenching story behind her hit single 'This Little Girl' and her extreme love of chips and salsa.

As promised, here's Cady's Studio version of Adele's 'Someone Like You':

You can hear that track, her single This Little Girl, and several other great new tunes on her EP due out February 7th. If you like what you hear, pre-order the EP here.

Cady's YouTube video covers are what really got my attention. This chick has a voice. Visit her YouTube channel and check them out for yourself. Here's one of my favs, Cady covering Adele's Rolling in the Deep (Unedited.)

Huge thanks to Cady once again for waking up early to talk to us. As always, feel free to call into the show with any thoughts about the interview, or if you would like to hear more of Cady Groves on your radio.
