Casey Anthony, who was acquitted on murder, manslaughter and child abuse charges on Tuesday but was convicted of lying to investigators, was sentenced this morning in Florida.  Anthony received one year for each count, but will likely be released from jail within weeks.  Anthony has already served three years while awaiting trial.  Judge Belvin Perry fined Anthony $1,000 for each count.  Judge Perry says it will be up to the attorneys to hammer out how much time Anthony will actually be credited for.  Anthony’s 2 year-old daughter Caylee disappeared in 2008.  The toddler’s remains were found in December, 2008, some five months after her disappearance.  The exact cause of Caylee’s death has never been determined.  Anthony’s legal woe’s are not over.  She still faces a civil suit stemming from allegations she made against another Florida woman in Caylee’s disappearance.  That case is set to go to trial in late August.
