A veteran Brazos County constable, a bystander and the alleged shooter all died in yesterdays shocking gun battle in College Station. Reports indicate that Brian Bachmann, a twenty year law enforcement veteran, who served thirteen years as a constable, was attempting to serve an eviction notice at home near the college and was shot as he approached the home.

Wichita Falls Police have arrested the second individual wanted in the shooting at Mo’s Grocery on Monday afternoon. Michael Graves, aka Michael McGill, was arrested at a home in the 1400 block of Kinsale Court in the City View Heights area earlier this afternoon.
UPDATE: 12/6/11 5:32 pm – Police were able to identify the body after conducting a door to door search of the 4900 block of Springhill and finding the man’s family. The man has been identified as 72 year old Johnie Lee Peal.
