‘Fifty Shades’ Writer Slammed During Twitter Q&A
On June 29th, Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James participated in a Twitter Q&A session, but didn't get the kind of questions she was probably hoping for.
During the Q&A session, James was bombarded by a multitude of questions using the "#AskELJames" hashtag, attacking her perceived glorification of abuse and stalking, her flawed depiction of BDSM, the quality of her writing, and the origin of her story as erotic Twilight fan-fiction. Most, if not all, of these types of questions went ignored by James, who also blocked many of the question writers, resulting in more ridicule about her unwillingness to defend her work.
