Fun in the Falls: Wichita Falls Weekend Update Halloween Edition

Two student groups at MSU are hosting two events celebrating culture at Midwestern State university. Diwali the Indian festival of lights begins at 6pm in the Comanche Student center and features art music and dance from the Indian Student Association. Then at 8pm the African Student Association have a live event of music and theater both events are free and open to the public Diwali will include food for $8 per person. Proceeds benefit these hard working students

Watch these girls and guys get dirty to support Wichita Falls Very own Campfire Kids Charity the event will donate all the proceeds to this group that provides kids with safe fun alternative s after school. Teams are filled but you can watch and donate Saturday on the MSU practice fields at 10am

Downtown Wichita Falls Development is teaming up with the 2010 Wichita Falls Zombie Crawl Group to host a one-of-a kind event. The Wichita Falls Zombie Crawl & 5k is a fun run designed to promote fitness in a unique running environment, and bring awareness and promote revitalization of historic downtown Wichita Falls. Participants can pre-register for the run below! The pre-registration fee is $10, registration the day of the run is $20. Awards will be given for best finish times, and best costumes. This event is family-friendly; we encourage everyone to come out even if you are not a runner to watch in the observer’s lane

Not only will they have the best drink specials in town at $.50 cent "U-Call-It" till 11pm, but there will be a Costume Contest around witchin' hour. $2,000 in cash and prizes is up for grabs - Best Individual, Best Group and Sexiest Female are the categories.
