Before the broadcast, Justin Timberlake joked that receiving the Video Vanguard Award at the 2013 MTV VMAs was receiving the "You Got Old Award." Well, the way he sang and danced tonight (Aug. 25), turning in an epic medley of tunes and inviting his former 'N Sync bandmates to join him, proved him to be anything but old.

For his performance, his pal Jimmy Fallon introduced him as the "president of pop" and JT performed 'Take Back the Night' while offstage, on an escalator, making his way through the venue.

JT's dance crew surrounded him as he made his way to the stage to launch into a medley. One thing is for sure. The kid can dance his you know what off.

Once he was on the actual stage, looking very Michael Jackson-esque with his black pants, blazer and fedora, he launched into his smash 'Sexy Back,' declaring "I still own this b---h." You know it, JT!

But sexy wasn't the only thing Timberlake brought back. He also brought his 'N Sync bandmates back to the stage for a little 'Bye Bye Bye' and some banging choreography. They were on stage for about two minutes but it was beyond worth it. It made PopCrush's life to witness that spectacle.

The sound was a bit off during the whole of the performance. At first we thought it was for effect, but something didn't seem right, even through 'Cry Me a River,' 'Suit & Tie' and 'Mirrors.' PA problems aside, it was amazeballs.

After JT's performance, he was further celebrated by Fallon and blushed the entire time as he prepared to receive his Video Vanguard Award. He was met with the crowd chanting his name, to which he said, "There is an extra $500 in all of your gift bags, just for that. I don't deserve this award, but I'm not going to give it back," he said.

He also said, "Half of the Moon Men I've ever won was with them," as he pointed to 'N Sync.

Yeah, we wiped away a tear.

More of that please. Could this little one off turn into more? Everyone loves a reunion!
