We have seriously missed Kelly Clarkson. To be fair, it's been less than a year since the release of her last album -- the seasonal Christmas album 'Wrapped In Red' -- but any time she spends away from the limelight is way too long.

In a recent performance at Symphony Park in Charlotte, N.C., Kelly graced us with another one of her unforgettable covers, this time of Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me.' (Check out the soulful cover, posted above.) She decided to change things up by introducing a full band to a song typically focused on vocals, but it's her voice that shines through -- proving, yet again, exactly why she deserved that 'American Idol' win over Justin Guarini way back in 2002. (Sorry, Justin!). Kelly's powerful vocals have only gotten stronger over the years, as she continues to impress us with the amount of depth and emotion she brings to everything she does.

Kelly's 2012 'Stronger' Tour saw the singer performing a new cover every night, so it's something we've come to expect over the years. From rock to pop to jazz, Kelly has shown time and time again just how versatile a singer she is, never delivering anything less than amazing every time.

Although nothing has been officially confirmed, a few recent tweets from the 'Since U Been Gone' singer have hinted at some new music coming our way in 2015, and we can't wait!
