An idiotic girl has been arrested after accidentally shooting and killing her equally stupid boyfriend while recording a stunt for their YouTube channel.

19-year-old Monalisa Perez of Minnesota and her boyfriend, 22-year-old Pedro Ruiz III, had been creating YouTube videos together for the past two months, featuring videos of pranks, stunts, and fails. In an attempt to increase their viewers, Ruiz came up with the idea of allowing Perez to shoot him on camera with only a hardback encyclopedia to stop the bullet.

Ruiz tested the gun against several other books in an attempt to convince Perez to do the stunt, showing that one book actually stopped a bullet. Convinced, Perez proceeded with the stunt, shooting Ruiz from one foot away with a Desert Eagle .50 caliber handgun. If you're not familiar with guns, the Desert Eagle has been said to be the perfect gun when you want to shoot from your living room and hit an intruder hiding behind the refrigerator in your neighbor's house. And she used this gun to shoot her boyfriend from ONE FOOT AWAY with only an encyclopedia to stop the bullet.

Perez called 911 at 6:30pm on Monday to report the shooting, but her boyfriend was pronounced dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound to the chest. According to NBC, Perez is being charged with manslaughter and is facing up to 10 years in prison. To make matters even worse, the couple have a 3-year-old daughter together and Perez is pregnant with their second child.
