Blanco Brown's "The Git Up" video is all about bringing people together in the name of music — and dancing! And it just feels good.

The video opens with Brown waking up with a smile on his face and a text that reads "Git up and be great son!"

Immediately, the viral star draws a crowd with his positive energy, and together they hit the streets to dance around quaint town of Watertown, Tenn. Of course they're doing as "The Git Up" instructs, stepping: "To the left, to the left now (to the left, to the left) / To the right to the right (to the right) / Now take your left hand and put it on your side (put it on your side) / Go on, roll your shoulders (roll your shoulders) / Do the slip and slide (do the slip and slide) / This next part's my favorite part / 'Cause it's time to shine."

Brown then ventures into firehouse, where he teaches a team of firemen and women how to do "The Git Up" while a group of senior citizens he meets in a diner are all smiles as they learn the new steps. But it becomes a full-blown party as Brown and his new friends take to a wide open field, the song playing overhead as a now-diverse group happily obliges to the song's commands.

"The Git Up" was released as Brown's debut country single in May 2019. It's since spent nine weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, in addition to sitting in the top spot on the Billboard Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales charts for 11 weeks.
