Singer Charlie Puth is down to help 6ix9ine continue to make music.

In a post he shared on Monday (Sept. 23), the New Jersey-bred singer extended his production services to the incarcerated rapper, should he decide to release material in the future.

"If 6ix9ine gets out and is able to make another record i’ll produce it for free," Puth wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

The singer has worked with the likes of Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa in the past and apparently wants to add 6ix9ine to that list. It is unclear why he deleted the tweet, but with the "snitch" label surrounding 6ix9ine right now it is likely he received some backlash.

As previously reported, 6ix9ine testified last week in the trial against his former associates and Nine Trey Gangsta Blood gang members Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack and Anthony "Harv" Ellison. A New York Times report published on Sunday indicates that he may enter the witness protection program following his release because of how well known he is. Others, like T.I., believe he will go right back to making music and being accepted by the hood.

"Yes he can," Tip said to Big Boy after the Real 92.3 radio host said 6ix9ine can't go back to the hood. "It's a bunch of rats walking 'round right now. And that's the thing that really hurts. They riding 'round with somebody they know done told in they hood right now, because, 'Well, he didn't tell on me.'"

As for the latest in the ongoing trial, 6ix9ine's former driver Jorge Rivera took the stand on Monday (Sept. 23) and testified that he became a federal informant after being arrested by ICE and provided police with info on the rapper and his crew.
