Ashley Sisk stopped by the studio to discuss the upcoming pre-ride event for the Hotter'N Hell Hundred. This is being put on by the Wichita County Health District. Obviously they promote events throughout the year to help kids stay in shape and signing up for the Hotter'N Hell Hundred 10K is a great event for everyone to start out at.
First Hotter'N Hell Hundred Can Be Overwhelming
If you have never taken part or seen the starting line of the Hotter'N Hell Hundred. It can look a little intimidating. Thousands of people are lined up to take part in the annual ride. People are divided into different starting points depending on how far they're riding. If you're taking part in this event with the kids, you can take them on a pre-ride this Saturday at 8:30AM.
The Duck Coffee Company Will Be the Start of the Pre-Ride
For anyone interested in this event. Meet at The Duck Coffee Company at 8:30 in the morning this Saturday. They're located at 717 7th Street in downtown Wichita Falls. Obviously bring a bike, a helmet, and some water to stay hydrated. You will actually get to ride on what will be the 10K of the Hotter'N Hell Hundred. This way your kids can get an idea of what they will be doing on the actual Hotter'N Hell Hundred Day on August 23rd.
Plus, this is a good way to make sure your family can finish the 10K before the actual event.
