Last week we posted to our Facebook page asking you to finish this statement:
"I'm so Wichita Falls______!" It's a statement expressing what living in Wichita Falls means to you, things you remember about the good ol' days, or why you are such a stereotypical citizen of Wichita Falls.

There were quite a few comments referring to our new waste water reuse system, but there were also some great comments about favorite hangouts, old businesses, and of course, the drought.

Take a trip down nostalgia lane, joke about the troubles of our city, and take pride in the things you love as you read some of the best "I'm so Wichita Falls..." statements below. And don't forget to add yours to the comments section!

I remember when NIN was KNIN!
    ~ Bobbie BJ Reynolds

Editor's note: Back in the mid 90s we were looking for a way to freshen up the image of the station without losing its legacy, so the 'K' was dropped and the station became what it is today - 92.9 NIN. However, the legal call letters of the station are still KNIN.

    I'm so Wichita Falls...

Because this is the only place I could ever call home. No matter where I move in the future, I am who I am because I grew up here with my people. I remember people from the city coming to Austin Elementary and showing us blueprints and info about the construction on the new bridges we were getting. Then, the next 10 years or so watching the progress.
