And that's at and mere 106 degrees. it's 112 degrees here today in North Texas. Let's break it down.

The Scorcher of the Century

Everything's bigger in Texas, and that includes the heatwaves. The Lone Star State has been roasting under the sun with record-breaking temperatures that would make even a desert cactus sweat. And it's not just hot; it's "sizzle your shoes" hot!

The Unbearable Heatwave

Texans are used to scorching summers, but this year has taken the term "heatwave" to a whole new level. With temperatures soaring above 110°F (43°C), it's like living inside an oven. People are even reconsidering their stance on global warming because, well, it's hard to deny when the pavement starts turning into a liquid.

The Road That Couldn't Take the Heat

Now, onto the main event! A stretch of asphalt in Texas recently decided to give up the fight against the relentless sun. In a bizarre twist of events, the road began to resemble something out of a Salvador Dali painting as it slowly melted under the oppressive heat

What in Tarnation?

So, it's obvious that's just the tar melting which was used to repair a crack most likely, but it still looks and probably smells horrible.
