
The Michelin Guide Names Best Value Restaurants in North Texas for 2025
When you think of a Michelin Star restaurant, you probably think expensive clothes you have to wear and probably and even more expensive restaurant bill. Here are some more wallet friendly restaurants you can check out.
Last night The Michelin Guide announced their new Texas restaurants for 2025 that will be making the cut. Did you know, they have something called the Bib Gourmands list? These are restaurants that serve amazing food that won't break the bank. DFW now has seven restaurants you can try.
Cattleack BBQ (Farmers Branch)
Specializing in BBQ meals, you can fill up here for a single plate for around $40-$60. While a family platter will cost between $120-$148 which is meant to be shared with multiple people. The popular Texas Trinity plate comes with Brisket, Sausage, and Pork Ribs costs $25.
Gemma (Dallas)
A Neighborhood Bistro in Dallas serving elevated classics and an extensive wine list. According to Google, you can expect to pay around $35 per person when you go eat here. Check out their full menu.
Lucia (Dallas)
If you love pasta, this is the place for you. Handmade fresh each and every day. Be prepared to pay just over $100 according to reviews of this place. That is a four course meal though. That's an appetizer, pasta, entree, and dessert. Check out their menu for options.
Mot Hai Ba (Dallas)
A Vietnamese restaurant that does pho and A LOT more. According to reviews, people typically spend $75-$85 when you order an appetizer and two entrees on a date night. See what they offer here.
Ngon Vietnamese Kitchen (Dallas)
Now if you like Vietnamese food, but want it a little cheaper than Mot Hai Ba, check out Ngon Vietnamese Kitchen. For two people to go out to eat here, they typically pay around $50. Check out their full menu here.
Nonna (Dallas)
Earlier we talked about the amazing pasta at Lucia. This place also does amazing pasta, but also has wood fired pizzas. Main courses are priced from $22–$38, appetizers and salads from $9–$20, and desserts at $8.50. You can check out the full menu here.
Goldee's BBQ (Fort Worth)
Dallas dominates the North Texas restaurants, but Fort Worth gets bragging rights for one affordable restaurant with amazing food. Not shocking they do BBQ, it's literally in their name. According to a post on Reddit, nine months ago, that meal above cost $125. It has tender juicy brisket, succulent ribs, superb sausages, cheesy grits, and bodacious beans along side the best banana pudding this side of the Red River. However, if you want something smaller, more budget friendly prices are available as well.
