Back in September, we reported that Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick would be voicing the two main characters—Branch and Princess Poppy—for DreamWorks' upcoming film Trolls. Trolls as in troll dolls, the iconic '60s toys with the crazy neon hair created by Danish woodcutter Thomas Dam.

The movie will "for the first time tell the story behind the beloved Trolls and their gravity defying and colorful manes." It will also take Timberlake and Kendrick's characters "far beyond the only world they have ever known, [and] their quest will test their strength and reveal their true colors — with no shortage of musical mash-ups along the way."

Kendrick's tweet takes a slightly more humorous approach with the addition of the hashtags #HairGoals and #NewYearNewMe—a lighthearted bit of shade for all the cliche New Year's Resolutions currently flooding social media.

Yesterday (January 5), Billboard reported that Timberlake will also serve as the executive music producer for the film, overseeing "the creative direction for the film's music," as well as performing original songs for its soundtrack.

On his role as executive music producer, Timberlake made the following statement: "I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn’t be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks’ Trolls. This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it all."

Trolls is scheduled to hit theaters on November 4, 2016.
