On the new episode of his podcast, wrestling legend Steve Austin committed to appearing at the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in Wichita Falls by the end of the year.

Steve Austin's guest for the last two weeks on the family-friendly version of his podcast, "The Steve Austin Show," has been PWHF President "Cowboy" Johnny Mantell. Austin and Mantell discussed various things like Mantell's wrestling past against fallen legends like Roddy Piper and Bruiser Brody, as well as the PWHF's recent move to Wichita Falls, which Mantell said has welcomed more than 3,000 visitors since opening in April.

Mantell is working on getting regular legend appearances, starting with WWE Hall of Famer "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff on July 10th.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is a WWE Hall of Famer and was inducted into the PWHF last month, but had to cancel his appearance at the ceremony after suffering an injured shoulder during his in-ring appearance at Wrestlemania 32. The injury required surgery and Austin's doctor suggested no travel during the healing process, causing Austin to cancel several appearances. However, Austin said he's eager to follow through on his appearance at the PWHF,

Mark my words, and I give you my word, I'm going to make it down to Wichita Falls before this year is over.  I'd like to see the Hall in person myself and I'm proud to be in there.

Mantell was more than pleased to get Austin's commitment,

It's just a positive thing for the Hall to get his support and backing.  Then for the masses of people who listen to his podcast to find out about the Hall being here in Wichita Falls. That's huge for us.
