Racism

Thanks to the Paula Deen controversy, the subject of racism in America is now at the forefront of a lot of political and social debates.  Is racism still present in America?  Unfortunately, racism looks like something that won't be going away any time soon...

I admit, I have not seen the movie, but I have read the book.  Also, in the spirit of true disclosure, when I was reading the book, I did think of Rue as white, and her companion Trench as black.  I did expect a little more from "The Hunger Games" fans . . . if only because being a "Hunger Games" fan means you know how to read, and people who read tend to be a little more toler
