Watch the 2016 Kidd’s Kids Walk the Purple Carpet on Their Way to Disney World

After months of preparation, the fifty selected Kidd's Kids and their families officially set off from Dallas Love Field today on their once in a lifetime vacation to Disney World.

Partnered with Southwest Airlines, this year marked the 25th anniversary of the charity founded by the late Kidd Kraddick and has continued in his honor and as his legacy since his passing in 2013.

Made possible by sponsors and donations from Kidd Kraddick listeners such as yourself, it was his mission to provide both chronically and terminally ill children and their families a trip of a lifetime.

The Kidd's Kids and their families were introduced by the cast of the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show and escorted down a balloon adorned purple carpet by Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and countless loving supporters. These courageous children boarded their very own Southwest Airlines Kidd's Kids airplane on their way to the magic kingdom.

The beauty and joy from the children and families alike and each and every soul that helped make this miracle of a day possible will resonate forever in all of our hearts. Today was truly a once in a lifetime blessing to us all!
