What is the Most Popular Christmas Movie Among Texans?
Tossing aside the regular debate on if 'Die Hard' is actually a Christmas movie (answer: it is!), we now look to see if its the favorite Christmas movie for Texans.
The streaming news site Streaming Observer compiled information from Rotten Tomatoes' list of the top 50 Christmas movies and compared it to Google Trends for each state to determine the most popular Christmas movie in each state.
While 'Die Hard' is fun to argue on its status as a Christmas classic, its not the most beloved among many states, only showing up as the top in 4 states. The most widely popular movies are 'Home Alone' and 'Gremlins', one of which topped the list for Texas.
Now the important question... How did 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' not top one single state's list?!
