Restaurants Offering Free Veteran's Day Meals in Wichita Falls

Veteran's Day is this Friday. If you have served or are currently serving you deserve a nice lunch on the house.

Veteran's Day started after World War I to honor US veterans and victims of all wars. Honestly, we should be honoring people who have served more than just one day a year. If you see someone in a military uniform, be sure you show them some love, and not just on November 11.

Several restaurants across the country are offering free meals to veterans on Friday. Many are also giving free meals to current members of the military as well. If I left anyone off, please let me know in the comments and I will add it later.

Complimentary order of wings and a side of fries to veterans and active-duty military. Must present acceptable proof of military service, which includes: permanent or temporary U.S. military ID cards, veteran’s card, a photograph of yourself in military uniform, or dine-in at a participating location in uniform.

Wichita Falls Wildcats Hockey: All active, retired, and military veterans will also be given a free ticket to Saturday's game by showing their military ID, and are entitled to as many as four $5 tickets for family members.
Bed Bath and Beyond: 20% off entire purchase for veterans and family members.
Walgreens: 15% off eligible store items and 20% off Walgreens and W Brand products.
Starbucks: Free tall (12oz) hot brewed coffee.
7-11: Free Big Gulp, Slurpee, or medium coffee.
