Editor's note: Back in the mid 90s we were looking for a way to freshen up the image of the station without losing its legacy, so the 'K' was dropped and the station became what it is today - 92.9 NIN. However, the legal call letters of the station are still KNIN.
I remember when 92.9 NIN was in a little building off Old Iowa Park Road instead of where they are now! (Fidelity Bank Building in Parker Square)
