Avengers Assemble! First Full Trailer For “The Avengers” Hits The Web. [VIDEO]

As one of the resident geeks for NIN and Townsquare Media (Chris Callaway doesn't like to admit he's just as bad as I am), I figured it was up to me to post this.  I may be a rarity in that I'm interested in the movie, but not totally psyched up yet.  I really enjoyed "Thor" and "Captain America", but "Iron Man 2" and both "Hulk" and "The Incredible Hulk" were nowhere near as good as they should have been.  To combine these major characters could either be amazing, or a cinematic apocalypse.  The fact that Joss Whedon is directing gives me hope.  After his several TV shows and a movie like "Serenity", Whedon shows that he knows how to direct an ensamble cast.  However, no matter how good this is going to be, I still think "The Dark Knight Rises" will make this look like "Transformers".
