Ever since I can remember, Paul McCartney has been the world's richest musician.  After he got the rights to the Beatles songs back from Michael Jackson, that is.  Now, though, even the 40+ years of royalties from The Beatles can't keep Paul from falling out the top spot that will now be held by... Bono?

At 11AM this morning, Facebook will become a publicly traded company.  It's the biggest IPO in the history of the stock market with a pre-IPO valuation of the company at 104 BILLION dollars. Actually there are over 1,000 known people that will become instant millionaires today.

What does this have to do with Bono, the frontman of U2? Well, a lot.  You see, Bono has a nice little investment in Facebook.  And when it goes public, his net worth is expected to shoot from about $900 million to $1.5 BILLION.  McCartney is "only" worth about $1 billion. So... suck it... Beatles.
