An investigation is underway and we will see if this kid will serve some jail time.

If you're new to the story of the 'Affluenza' teen. Ethan Couch was sixteen at the time of a drunk driving accident where he killed four people. He didn't serve any time because his lawyer argued he was suffering from 'Affluenza'. Which basically means, the inability to understand the consequences of one’s actions because of financial privilege.

That argument got Ethan probation for the next twenty years. About a month ago, video surfaced of allegedly Ethan Couch playing beer pong. This would be a violation of his probation, so police wanted to bring him in for questioning. Ethan had disappeared and his mother as well. His father had no idea where the two had run off to.

Great news, Ethan and his mother have been detained in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. District Attorney Sharen Wilson has said it "certainly looks like him" in the video, but added that without further investigation, the video alone did not prove he violated his probation. But leaving the county and not meeting his probation officer are violations."

According to reports, Ethan could now face up to ten years in prison for violating his probation. "It would not be prudent for us to make any further statement on Ethan's behalf until the investigations are concluded and it is determined what, if any, action will be taken against him," the lawyers added.
