The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department has busted two men accused of stealing part of the destroyed Porsche from the wreck that killed actor Paul Walker last weekend.

TMZ reports that the alleged thieves stole a t-top from the wrecked Porsche Carrera GT at a stop light while it was being towed away from the scene of the accident.  The tow truck driver saw the two suspects and helped police to identify them.  18-year-old Jameson Witty was arrested yesterday (12/5), and the other suspect, who is currently out of the state, has reportedly been contacted and agreed to surrender to authorities.  Both are expected to be charged with felony grand theft and tampering with evidence. The T-top was discovered at Witty’s home, and investigators even found that Witty posted pictures of it on Instagram with the caption,

Piece of Paul walkers car, took it off a tow truck at a stop light.

Similar incidences happened a few years ago when ‘Jackass’ star Ryan Dunn was killed in a similar wreck and fans took pieces of the wreckage as mementos, some even attempting to sell it online.
