There have been a number of strange tactics employed when it comes to teaching babies and toddlers all there is to know about numbers, shapes

and letters. So when Utah dad Mike Wilson decided to purchase an iPad for his two-year-old son Bridger to assist with that very job, it was only a little strange.

He later admitted that the purchase was primarily an excuse to splurge on a pricey iPad he'd probably end up using for himself, but the teaching tactic actually worked.

Says Wilson, "His speech, understanding, word recognition and even hand eye coordination have improved ... My son can read tons of words now, he knows every animal and dinosaur and just turned two years old!"

A video posted to YouTube demonstrates the kiddo's master iPad skills and ability to follow commands, read, write and draw.
