Did you forget your whole family was coming over for dinner on Thanksgiving? Well know worries, just pop that bird in the microwave and you'll be good to go.

If course you could go out and buy a Thanksgiving TV dinner and heat one up for every family member, but wouldn't you miss out on making all that food and carving up a perfectly cooked turkey?

Well somebody has come up with a quick and easy way to make your entire Thanksgiving meal using only your microwave! It's the perfect way to cook your feast.

I'm sure the biggest concern is cooking the turkey in the microwave. Well according to the author of the post, it can work. There are just a few simple guidelines to follow before throwing that bird in your microwave.

First, the turkey has to be able to fit in the microwave, with a minimum three inches overhead and an additional inch or two to each side.

Second, only try this with turkeys between 12-14 pounds. I'm sure you could nuke a larger bird, but it would just take more time.

Now that you've found the right bird, do everything you normally would do before cooking it. Remove the giblets, season the bird, etc.

Next, place it in a microwave safe roasting bag. Now you're ready to start cooking.

Throw that turkey in the microwave at 50% power for around ten minutes per pound and you're good to go.

When the deepest bits of the bird reach 165 degrees, it's ready to eat. Of course that time could change depending on the size of the turkey and your microwave's power, so add addition time if needed.

And be sure to cook your stuffing separate from the turkey, or you could be nuking that bird all day long.

The website also has instructions on how to cook everything you need for an entire Thanksgiving meal in your microwave including stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce! Check it out here.
